Professional Experience:


Paul is a Registered Architect with 28 years of experience and he maintains a private architectural practice in Hopewell, NJ.  His experience has focused on residential, retail, commercial, educational and institutional projects.  He is a LEED accredited professional.


Recent projects include the new Sourland Cycles Bike Shop on Broad Street in Hopewell, NJ and small and large residential projects in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.


In his previous role as an Associate with Farewell Mills Gatsch Architects, LLC and Farewell Architects, Paul served as project manager/architect for the following:

-    Construction of the environmentally-sustainable Arts and Athletic                        

      building of the Princeton Charter School, Princeton, NJ. 

         -     Restoration of the Louis Kahn Trenton Bathhouse in Ewing, NJ

-     Renovation of the Philips Lighting Learning Center, Somerset, NJ.


Other previous work includes the following:

-     Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association Education Center,

  Hopewell, NJ;

-     USGA Museum and Archives, Far Hill, NJ – expansion and renovation;

-     Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ – renovation of science laboratory and offices;

  1. -    Summit Unitarian Church, Summit, NJ – addition and renovation;

  2. -    Marriott Conference Center & Hotel at Lafayette Yard, Trenton, NJ.

-     Projects for Princeton University, Princeton, NJ:

- Alexander Hall/Richardson Auditorium – improvements & addition

- University Chapel – renovation of rehearsal room, ancillary spaces

- McCosh Hall – renovation of classrooms & offices on lower level

- Foulke and Lockhart Hall dormitories – renovations

- University Cottage Club – interior renovations

  1. -48 University Building – alterations & additions to newspaper/magazine production building;


In 2002, Paul was awarded a Historic Preservation Award from the Victorian Society in America, Delaware Valley Chapter, for preservation and restoration work on his own 1897 residence.
